Getting Started at Solo

Want to know more about what Solo (Autocrossing) is? Check out the SOLO pages of the official SCCA web site.
This will give you a full description of how we enjoy our weekends.
Need to find what class your car would go into? Check out the SCCA Listings.

Can't find a region in your area? They may not have a web site yet. Try the TEAM.NET mailing lists. Here you will find plenty of people that may be able to help you find points of contact in your area.

Please note that the bulk of people on TEAM.NET are located in the US and Canada. Also the SCCA (Sports Car Club of America) is the largest sanctioning body for SOLO/Autocrossing but, it is by no means the only one. The folks on TEAM(dot)NET are from both the SCCA and non-SCCA clubs.

Do you want to try or are you new to Solo? Check out this Novice handbook, written by Kate Hughes. It's very comprehensive and provides a great deal of information, although it may be a bit dated, especially regarding car classing.
