Oh man, this day is not a day I ever wanted to come....
My impulse buy in December has turned into a tough reality of whether or not I can keep making the payment. I refuse to deal with the tapdance bull**** of craigslist at this point and figured this is a good starting point.
So I have a 2007 335xi. I bought the car from Schomp in December. Here are the basics:
Red exterior / black leather interior with dark burl trim
6 speed MANUAL TRANSMISSION (woot!)
48xxx miles
Cold Package
Premium Package
Sport Package
Clean Carfax (for what it's worth)
Stock everything except for clutch valve delay delete done by SCR last month
Interior quality: 10/10. I can find nothing wrong with the inside of this car.
Exterior quality: 9/10. There are two scuffs on the rear bumper because apparently the previous owner didn't know how to parallel park, or something. However, there are NO door dings, no scratches, etc. Windshield and windows and such are in immaculate condition.
I honestly love EVERYTHING about this car. This car was my next "ideal" vehicle after I bought my E36 M3. It's just freaking awesome in every way. If I had any way to get around selling this, I would.
The only black mark is that there is some goofiness going on with the front end. Long story short I had the passenger side tie rod and strut + strut locating arm replaced at Schomp right when I bought the car, then SCR replaced the entire hub bearing assembly on the driver side. The car still pulls to the right a bit despite the subframe and alignment being square, so the next step is probably replacing the front struts which is probably a good idea anyway if you want to improve the handling.
I currently owe $27,045 on the lien and have to sell for the balance.
Oh, and the car does not come with the SSRs in the first photo below; I am keeping those for the M3. The car will come with the black 18" aftermarket wheels that were on it when I bought it (2nd photo). Oh, and I sold the Thule rack.
PM me or reply to this thread if you may be interested. Like I said, this is a FEELER. I'm trying to figure out if I can keep the car, but this is more of a "fun" type vehicle since I work remotely 99% of the time and don't necessarily need it. But really, is any of this about need?
