View Full Version : Tire pressures for All Seasons
Too Big Small Turbo?

Ok I'm totally lost on what pressures I should run on these for the autoX tomorrow, sadly I'm running on all seasons. The tires are Bridgestone all seasons (P009 or something like that), the car is a BMW 325i weighing about 3200 with me in it. Let me know what you all think and thank you very much.
I used to run about 40 psi in the front and 32-36 in the rear depending on traction at said event. Typically street tires require more psi to keep them from flexing to much.

I'd start the day with the max on the sidewall on all four, work down from there. Look for rollover (actually works on street tires), but IME, street tire = high pressure.

These guys certainly know more than me. But I will tell you, there is "too high". I did one event on all seasons- crappy all seasons. I ran 40 PSI and I might as well have been driving on ice. Just no grip at all. Less than I had at "normal" pressure. So Iain's advice is probably sound, start high, but work down if you need to.
