How much of a head start do you think you'd need to have on Michael in his F1 ride to beat him around a 3 minute course?

The acceleration coming out of the last corner into the final straight of the F1 is just amazing. Blew by them like they were standing still  That's why I stay up late Friday and Saturday night to watch F1. They are just incredible.

Many, many years ago when Audi was heavily involved in Rallye and the sport Quattros were king, Road and Track did an article where an Audi rallye driver and an F1 driver (I think Chris Amon) traded cars and drove a bit in each car's element. The mind numbing thing was both drivers said they thought the acceleration of the Quattro on dirt was about equal to the acceleration of the (I think Arrows) F1 car on pavement for the first three gears. I watched the start of one special stage at a Reno rallye years ago (maybe 1982?) when Audi brought over a works car and was amazed anything with doors could accelerate that fast, much less on dirt! We don't have Speed Channel so I get my F1 fix on the web, but yeah, it's the only spectator auto racing I really like to see...

That was sweet.

How old is that video? That F1 Chassis had to have been atleast 7 or 8 years old.

Do you get the whole races on the web Matt and if so, where?
