Hello everyone,
Well, I am interested in finding out how many of you are racing simulator players? How many have a racing seat? How many would like to have a seat?
I had built my own a few years ago, and here I am again thinking of producing some more. The idea is to keep it simple, sturdy and inexpensive (Compared to $500 of those availeble now). I am thinking of a base price between $250 - $300.
One feature I am thinking to incorporate, is a storability feature and as much adjustability as possible.
For those that have never race simulated with a proper set-up, this is a great way to enjoy racing at almost no cost!
Here are a few pics of my seat and the next, will be an evolution of this design.

Thanks Guys

I'd likely pick one up . . . . I liked your design.

I'm a SimRacer - Rfactor (http://www.rFactor.net) mostly.

I don't have the room for a dedicated racing seat like that, but if any of the local electronic wizards wanted to take a stab at adding a clutch pedal and "H" (or better) style shifter to your run of the mill Logitech PC/PS2 wheel for less than the Hundreds Of Dollars that other places want, I'd be all over it like...uh...Hoosiers on lightweight rims.
