Im new here and would like to get started. I tried to get into this about a year ago but I could never get the car going.

Well now Im back with 91 mazda miata. Its bone stock but I plan to do more as I get more into autox.

Well any help would be great.

and if anyone would be ok with me riding along with them on the next event lmk.

As for rides, Winter Season is upon us and rides are open to everyone. Introduce yourself at the event and ask if you can hop in.

You're going to love it! And your Miata is a great car to play with! If you want to have a blast without spending too much money you might look at the rules for "Stock" class and build a nice E Stock car. There are one or two folks here running Miatas I think. I'm sure they'll help you out!

As for rides, what John said. And in your first full season you'll be able to take rides with folks as part of the Novice program. Just grab your helmet and start asking folks! Everyone will be pretty open during the winter, but as summer season starts, best to try to catch folks on their first run or two.
