I'm writing to ask our PDX, CTT, and SOLO drivers to support Mark Baer and Jim Leithauser in the Colorado Region SCCA Board run-off election.

There are two positions to fill on the board, and there is a third candidate running for one of those two position. Voting for both Mark and Jim will provide enough voices on the board to address several issues that directly impact PDX and CTT.

In fact, I personally feel strongly that Mark and Jim making the board are critical to there being a PDX/CTT season in the future.

Make no mistake--it has taken a huge effort by our Fearless Leader to provide us a schedule these last two seasons, let alone continue to grow the program. He's been amazingly successful in spite of a road racing-dominated Board.

It is now time for PDX/CTT and SOLO membership to step up and bring in more candidates that represent our interests in local SCCA decisions.

Please take the time to vote for Mark and Jim in the runoff election for the SCCA Colorado Region Board.

The meeting and election is Tuesday, October 20th. Voting can be done via US Mail or by attending the meeting. If mailing in the ballot, they need to be received BEFORE the meeting, so take the time this weekend to mail in your votes.

Seriously, this is really important. If you are on the fence, or are expecting others to take care of the voting, DON'T. It is up us - and that means YOU as well.

Send in your ballot ASAP!
