With less than a week we have only 15 entries. Is this event in jeopardy? Just wondering before making motel plans. Also, if we work on 10/10 then that will qualify us for the PDX at HPR on 10/25, right? With a Pueblo forecast of 51 for a high our engines should definitely be running cool!

I can't answer the 1st question. To the 2nd = Yes.

Event is not in jeopardy, we intend running as normal on Sunday. The only factor that may change that decision is weather, but it looks better on Sunday than the forecast for Saturday.
I am optimistic we will have decent weather on Sunday for our finale.
working on saturday will qualify you for the free PDX at HPR on Oct 25, but you must register with me (a simple email will suffice) for the Oct 25 event, as we do have a minimum entry (12) requirement for that event.

You can use the registration website, you know. Barclays charges a twelve pack of New Belgium beer for email registration--that became effective October 1st.

Awesome! Thanks guys. Looking forward to it. I'm on street tires so as long as I can get home it's all good. And if not, well I've been there and done that :D

The email was about making me pay if I didn't show. :D

Event officials are easily bribed with beer and food. El Presidente margarita's at Chilli's are a guaranteed arm twister.

Are we at least having a bench race at a denver bar?

I got an e-mail from Grant Saturday morning stating that the chiefs had all decided to cancel the PDX / CTT for Sunday due to weather. It sure looked like it went out to a distribution list.

It is good that the email was sent, I saw it Sunday night after getting home from the track. A phone call to the Race Chair or Club Racing Chief Steward would be a great idea since getting email at the track is not easy, if possible at all.

As you all know the PMP PDX/CTT was cancled however Grant and the other officals didnt bother to tell anyone at the track (including PDX/CTT particapents) that it was cancled. As such the only way we knew it was cancled is that no offical from PDX/CTT was there sunday morning. Not only did this mean the drivers for PDX/CTT effectivly wasted their time getting up early enough for registration/tech but EVERY other worker at the track did as well.
@ The moderator seeing as how there are no publickly/easily accesablie rules there is no reasson to delete this (again) especially seeing as how its just a bit of critisim (have to take the good with the bad after all).

Previous post was moderated by request of the chief steward. I was not involved in the decision for the event.
