2009 Club Time Trials Season Finale
Pueblo Motor Sports Park
Oct 11th, 2009
Drivers,
The 2009 season finale for the Club Time Trials program will be held at Pueblo Motorsports Park on Oct 11th 2009. The event will be run as part of Continental Divide Region’s Enduro / Regional weekend, and will feature a PDX (Performance Driving Experience).
This will be the last chance for Club Time Trials track time this season, don’t miss out, Register Today.
www.sccatimetrials.org and click on the link to registration. Make sure you read the event Supplemental regulations.
Important Info for this event
The Saturday schedule includes the Enduro, hosted by CDR. Come on out, and work corners, and enjoy watching the races from one of the best seats at the track. There is a big party with free beer planned to celebrate the finish of the Enduro.
A classroom session for the PDX, which is mandatory for all PDX participants, will be held in the classroom immediately following the finish of the Enduro and the awards ceremony (approx 6pm)
The PDX will start the morning on Sunday. Please be at the track by 7am ready to run. You must attend the classroom session on Saturday if this is your first event with the program, or if this is the first time you are driving at Pueblo. All other drivers are also welcome to attend.
Registration will be open at the track on Saturday following the Enduro, from approx 6pm until 7pm.
NO TECH AVAILABLE on Saturday at the track, only Sunday morning. If your car has not been tech’d prior to the event, you must notify Chief of Tech, Mark Baer (mark.baer@scrperformance.com) that you will need a full tech at the track. In the event, there is some item requiring attention, you will not be able to get it fixed prior to the PDX, and that is why Pre-Event Tech is highly recommended.
Limited Tech available at the track on Sunday from 6:45am to 7:30 am. Tech closes promptly at 7:30 am. All cars must have an event tech decal on the windshield in order to be allowed on track. Please see the website for more details on tech, and a downloadable tech form.

I won't be able to make this as much as I would love to. I was planning on doing the enduro and CTT, but I can't get away from work at home.
I'm sure you will have fun!

This sucks... but I may be pulling out. I'll know more by Thursday, but I'm now at 50/50 vs. the 100%.

This event is very attractive to me, however, I have depleted my racing budget for the year. :(

With only so much time to make weekend events, this one far away in Pueblo, with the early start time and late finish time of these events, and PMP being the "old track" to me, I'll be sitting out.
If there was another TT at HPR yet this season I would be there, as it is I'll just hit one or two more half lapping days there I hope.
have fun!

I was in, now I'm out.
track tires are heat-cycled out, trailer bearing seized, and it's going to be cold.

This could be another chance for a drive in the dark !!! (glances around for Josh...)
Plans continue for both the Enduro/RR Saturday and RR/PDX/CTT on Sunday, so please get registered no later today--ONLINE--so that we can do our event planning accordingly.
Reports from the BMW CCA school last weekend was that Pueblo hadn't been driven on in awhile, and was very green especially with the cooler temperatures. Prepare cars and drivers accordingly!

... and much more bumpy then I remember! But yes... very green / slick in the cold AM. Afternoon seemed much-mo-betta.

Official weather response at the moment
until told otherwise by CDR, the event is going ahead.
A decision regarding PDX/CTT will be made by 7:30 am Sunday morning at the latest.
While Pueblo is in the warmer climes of Colorado, realistically we hold a responsibility to our drivers who have to make the trek over Monument Hill on I-25. Coming home from Pueblo two years ago (or was it 3?) was the second worst tow I have ever made, and I would not want our drivers to have a repeat.
The road race decision will be made at the track, by the chief steward, so expect no decision until at least Saturday morning or later.
sorry I cannot be more specific than that guys
