Real cobra R, no reserve, ready for track.
I remember reading about this car when it was released.. I don't know if you could easily build a mustang to this spec..

I've got close to $100K in this machine.
Divorce forces sale!Hmmm... Coincidence?

I know .. dumb huh?
you think if you got rid of either one, you'd get to keep the other.

Guess it depends on your facilities, tools, and skill, but in my mind no it would not be easy to build up a Mustang to the Cobra R's spec. To begin with the 5.4 as it was put in that car isn't available though you could buy the Navigator 5.4 crate engine, and add the same crank, rods, and pistons. That would be just the start. The Cobra R is arguably one of the best Mustang's ever built, and there were only 300 of them so it's pretty rare to see one selling.

that's what I thought..
From a rarity standpoint, that car is pretty cool to begin with. But to build a clone, I don't know if that comes easy or hard.
I know that from the porsche world, anything that P ever did to the 911 for special options, you could do better and cheaper yourself if you had the motivation and skill available.

So, at 36.5k, this looks like a deal.. Although, I expect it's ready to be sniped in about 17hours, 53 minutes.. :) I imagine she'll go past 50k.

Didn't Mr. Tunnell run one at an event or two last season? I remember seeing a Mustang in X class with the wing and all.
