Does anybody have any suggestions or know if this can be done locally? A buddy of mine just found out that one of his is blown. TIA!

The enquiring minds in forum land need to know what kind of struts - what brand, what car, all that kind of stuff. Generally speaking, when a strut leaks, it's time for a new pair. Koni and Bilstein stuff can be rebuilt by a number of people, original equipment stuff probably not...

Ok, here is the information:

fk coilovers (uses koni shocks)
the struts are non-adjustable for dampening
they are made of stainless steel

I had a recent thread on Koni rebuilders, didn't come up with anyone locally though:

not all Konis are rebuildable, FWIW.

I'd first check to see if the FK coilovers or their Koni components have a warranty.

He bought them slightly used, so the warranty doesn't apply anymore. Yes he did check. :D I let him know what you told me and go from there. Thanks!!!
