Mr. Burch, Mr. Young, and I enjoyed a day of testing and practice at HPR last Friday. Temps were higher than before, and grip a bit lower than we remembered, but had a good time trying some new lines.

This was my first trip out to HPR on race rubber. I managed to improve my best time by 3 seconds, which was around what I expected with the sticker tires. The loss of top speed and some grip due to the heat does suggest that some of the new lines were working.

Time to dig into the data :-)

So, line-wise, what do you notice different from what you're currently driving? Where do you see my (worst :-) ) mistakes?

I see an early entry to Danny's Lesson, holding the inside line. And it looks like you went into HPDrifter a little earlier than most I've seen.

Nice Dave. Can't wait. I've not done many laps there, but you also looked a little earlier and tighter through two than most I saw. You were WAY different in 6 than what most were doing. Certainly a better racing line.

And nice vid! Is that traqmate with the chasecam intregrated? I rented Kinch's tm at Pueblo, and Doug was nice enough to share a few of his laps to compare to. Well worth the $20.

Yes, the main changes being made are in T2, T6, T7, T11.

Think minimizing distance, and see if those lines make sense.
