Hi:
My name is Eric Thompson and I'm an addicted autocrosser. I've been participating in solo events since 1994 with FSAE and then moved to an ESP Camaro in 1998. I've only attended 2 national tours (Milwaukee in 2008 and Peru in 2009) and I plan on making my first trip to Nationals this year.
Over the years I've seen people come up with all sorts of home made solutions to keep their tires warm on cool days. Everything from the flimsy mylar covers to itchy fiberglass insulation. The problem with these solutions is that they don't travel well and are easily damaged and blown away. Plus their insulation value is not that great to begin and it's much less once they are compressed.
Last fall I launched my own line of professionally constructed Tire Blankets. The Tire Blankets provide more insulation value than either the mylar or 1 inch of fiberglass insulation and they last much longer too. At the end of the day you can wad them up and stuff them into any available space in you car or trailer and leave them like that till the next event and they will still work.

Currently Tire Blankets are available in two sizes:
$164.99 Small: fits tires UP TO 10 inches wide and 25 inches in diameter: 245/45R17
$174.99 Large fits tires UP TO 14 inches wide and 27 inches in diameter: 345/40R19
More information can be found on my website: MLSMotorRacing.com (http://mlsmotorracing.com/)
Currently I am offering the MLS Motor Racing Look Ahead Sale
For the month of July MLS Motor Racing is offering FREE GROUND SHIPPING in the lower 48 states on our Large and Small Tire Blankets. The average price to ship a set of Tire Blankets ground in the lower 48 states is $15.00 and shipments from Chicago (my location) to Colorado typically run higher.
Yes I know it's hot during the month of July and you might be thinking you don't need Tire Blankets now. But every good autocrosser knows you have got to look ahead to win, and if you look ahead you'll see that cool weather will return in the fall unless you plan on attending the Vail Valley Tour. Just like that first slalom cone after a fast corner cool weather will be hear sooner than you think. According the the 10 day weather forecast those attending the The Vail Valley National Tour could really benefit from using Tire Blankets over those who don't. The average temperature for the next 10 days is in the mid 60's so you know it will be tough to keep those tires warm between runs unless you use a set of our Tire Blankets.
So don't miss out on your chance to save money with our Free Shipping in July Look Ahead Sale.
Thanks for taking the time to read my post, and have a great day. Hope to see you in Lincoln!
