Anyone up for HPR Open Track 7/17?

Me, Jeff Burch, and Doug Young are planning on attending the open track day on Friday July 17th at HPR.

While this is just an open track day, and is NOT an SCCA-sponsored event in any way, we thought we'd invite the CTT gang to come out and join us.

Or, if you haven't made it out to HPR this season, here's a chance to ride with some instructors that have put in enough laps now not to get lost and show you the line :-)

Gordon is going to have to trade in the Vette on a Prius or something. Always some sort of excuse for not going to the track -- I'm working, there's a tornado, locusts, etc. :D

did some reverse pressure blasting with the radiator with a water hose... seemed to get a lot of bugs and dirt out. I hope this will improve cooling now that it is so much hotter out than last time i was at HPR.

Looks like we'll have good numbers Friday, and so far the weather is looking pretty good, if plenty hot.

I plan to be ready to run around 9-9:30. If I can fit it in the car, I'll bring an ez-up for a shade/story-telling area. Bring your own chairs.

Thanks Dave for bringing the e-zup, that will save some layers of skin on my neck.

I plan to be ready to run as soon as the track goes hot at 8, as the weather becomes unpredictabe in the mid-afternoons.
