In what proximity is the mic placed to the race line?

I have delt with sound regulations racing supermoto and get the general idea...a buddy has a handheld DB meter so I want to setup a mock driveby sound test to see where I may fall....

I hope to be at one of the next few events!

Over to your left is the "supplemental Rules" link, and in that is a link to the full sound supps. The short answer is 50' feet away, "Perpendicular" to the course.
