So, let's say I had a six cylinder car, and due to a misdiagnosis on running, I thought I had a fuel problem I could drive out, but in REALITY.. I had a bad spark wire on cylinder no 6.
And the car was driven possibly 40-50 miles, with lots of cold starts.
So, lots of fuel, no burn on one cylinder.
What's the permanant damage?
I went and did emissions this morning, and passed fine.
However, I think the car is slightly down on power, and I did turn my pretty white bumper yellow from burning the paint.
cooked cat, burnt valves, fuel running past the rings to the oil, thinning it?
