I saw a lot of cameras out there, let's share!

Here is the best place to host images for forums: http://shoeish.com/uploader/
1. Resize your image to 800x600 for forum posts.
2. Browse to your image, click upload
3. Copy the text from "Forum Code" and paste it in to your post here
4. Done.

For video, we have this youtube group.
http://www.youtube.com/group/coloradosccactt

Make an account (or sign in), upload your video, request permission to add to the group, then add your video to the group.

I took some onboard video, I will have more up tonight but here's a start:

A little drift in turn 5 after I missed my turn-in:

Will take me a couple of days to put my stuff together.

I was talking to Mark F. last night about seeing if we can get the TT website updated with a gallery area, where we could include pictures, video, and data. Look for more info on that later this week.

We had several photographers at the track this weekend, including Jay Bonvouloir, Rupert Berrington, and Al Pizzato--should be good pictures of *everyone* attending from what I hear. Look for postings from them as they get their shots processed.

If you have Traqmate or other data acquision from this weekend, please contact PM me on the forums here, and I'll coordinate exchanges of that. I know that I, Doug Young, and Mark Foust have data from at least part of the weekend.

If everyone (Autocrossers and what not) see some footage of how much insane fun we are having, I would not be surprised to see the number of entrants skyrocket. We had a record turn out this weekend, and I think the program is on a roll. Huge Thanks to Dave Jobusch, Grant and Carol Barkley, Mark Foust, the tech insp shops, all the corner workers, timing and scoring and everyone else who make this fantastic program what it is and what it will be!!!!!!

I'm the webmaster for the TT site. I'd be happy to revive the Media page if I have content to put there.

I can accept links to photos or photo galleries hosted elsewhere, and can probably host a few photos on the site though we do not have much space.

We do not have the space to host video, so you will need to edit and host your own video on Youtube or some other service and send me a URL.

Make sure to include any credits you want to appear, such as photographer/videographer, car, driver, number, caption, etc.

Contact me via PM here or email contactATkellymccormackDOTcom

Great--thanks Kelly.

Those with video--lets put those in some sort of central location on YouTube as opposed to scattered YouTube accounts.

Would it be possible to setup some sort of "home" page on YouTube, the way that HighPlainsRaceway does, where multiple contributors could post videos there?

It'd be nice if we could keep things organized and in similar sizes/formats there.

There isn't a community bucket type thing, somebody has to maintain it. Post the links to the videos here and I'll make a channel and maintain it. If anybody needs a raw file host send me a private message.

Edit: I suck, Kelly found the bucket type thing.

Thanks for volunteering to do that.

Kelly's our webmaster and actively maintaining our online presence. I'd like to see anyone setting that up work with him on the maintenance side of things, as well as provide him maintenance access.

Especially since I only see Justin a couple of times a year :D; we'd want anyone helping with this to be pretty regularly involved with the updates.

Even better, I'd like to see Justin attending all of our events

Between Al and I we took almost 1000 photo's over the weekend so it will take me a while to get through them all.
I know I got shots of EVERYONE who ran in the PDX. Al shot everyone running in the TT comp session. I also got some shots of the big bore and wings run groups qualifying sessions.

Alright, I created a YouTube "Group" that should allow people to join (after I approve you) and post their own videos.

http://www.youtube.com/group/coloradosccactt

I'll link or embed the stuff in the sccatimetrials.org site on a Media page once we have some videos up there.

Nice video... A couple questions about the track...

Is there rumble strip curbing around the corners or is that yet to come?

Seems like there were sticks at the edge of the pavement on each corner, guess it keeps you clear of getting into the dirt!

On the straights, is there braking markers counting down to the corners?
5, 4, 3, 2, 1... Perhaps there were and they were just to small to see on camera.

No. Smooth concrete strips

Seems like there were sticks at the edge of the pavement on each corner, guess it keeps you clear of getting into the dirt!

The strips have holes every 3-4 feet for the orange poles. Mainly to keep people from cutting the corners and tearing up the terra firma before the grass takes. Spec Miatas like to off-road... and several of the sticks were 'gone' by the end of the day.

On the straights, is there braking markers counting down to the corners?

Yup... although the '3' mysteriously disappeared on the open lapping day (front straight).

A big thanks to Al Pizzato for taking pics of the TT competition session for us. He really got some good shots of all of us.

Video of a friend driving his Cayman S at HPR, using DashWare again. Doug has added throttle position and RPMs to the data he collects, and so I took a crack at integrating that into the data overlay
