So its been about 2-3 years since my last solo. You guys have so many classes now. I was just wondering what I would fall under.

Open Class Subaru 2.5 rs

Na
DMS 50mm Suspension
Ram intake
9.6lbs flywheel
Probably run semi-slicks or rally tires just for fun
ECU piggy back
No interior
Caged
Headers
Cat but straight pipes
Drive pulleys
105 octane (unleaded)
Belts, seats
Slotted rotors/Carbon Pads but stock calipers

i think thats it. I cut a whole bunch of fat from the car. What else should I include. Thinking about running an event or two this summer when we're out there. I'll probably run rally tires just because its a rally car.

No interior and slicks throws you into a "Prepared" class. I'm not sure which, but I think it would be an FP or EP car. If you run A compound tires, and put the interior back in the car except the backseat. You would be in either DSP or SM (depending on if you changed the brake rotor diameter, that is different from stock).

If you run DOT legal tires it would be SM, correct?

SM does not allow fully gutted interior. Technically, you're only allowed to remove the rear seat in SM. I agree with the prepared class assesment. The other thing that I'm not sure about is the race fuel. I believe all solo cars must use "pump" gas. I know there are a few places that will dispense 100 and maybe even 104 octane from their pumps, but I'm but I've never seen 105 unleaded, even at Bandimere.

105 come from the pump. Where I buy it from anyway. But in order to save money, I was going to buy a 55 gal drum this year. Does that make me exempt now?

Crap! I'll just run expedition.

Ok, there is nothing in the car, and I don't plan on putting anything back in. If anything, I'm just going to take more out. The cage is in the way, so forget putting the seat back in. What if I just say I'm not going to run DOT tires, No interior, and 105 pump?

no... the prepared cars run off race fuel, the datsun i drove used something like 110 but it had a different number i think it was like C12 or something like that.

We'll say its stock. Over sized oil pan, might run an oil cooler by then. But nothing mechanical. It's replaced, but its still an ej25

as it stands EP if you wanted to add turbo or change motor XP or EM
