The PDX/CTT program will be holding a townhall meeting as part of the Divisional Conference.
Reasons you may want to attend
- you autocross now, and want to start driving your car on track
- you autocross now, and cannot afford to enter CTT events, I will show you how to reduce your entry fees up to 50% for CTT events, and show you how to attend PDX events for FREE
- you drive on track occassionally, but want to improve as a driver
- you want more competition than open track days provide
- you want to drive on 4 different CO tracks in 2009, a record
- you have driven HPR on rFactor and think you can beat your time in the real world
- you currently road race, and want to introduce your friends and family to how much fun driving on the track can be
- you want to volunteer to work at road race events, AND want to drive on track for FREE
- you already drive on track, and instruct for another club, and you want to drive on track, compete in CTT and pay very reduced entry fees
- you want to join "those track guys", and expand your horizons beyond a mere parking lot
But the real reasons you want to attend to conference
- drink beer with your racing buddies
- meet new racing buddies, from other disciplines within the SCCA, and drink beer with them
- meet the world famous Mr Pickles (rumored to be defecting to the BMW team for 2009)
- find out just who "lighting fast hands" LoCore really is
- socialize with some funny speaking dudes from deepest darkest Africa, and drink beer with them
- meet "I am not afraid to paint my car Lime Green" Mr Mannix
- hear some guy who has won the Daytona 24 hr, and the Indy 500 (twice) tell you how lucky you are to live in a state that has the best road course in north america. and how you are going to be able to drive on it in 2009

- rumors are floating around that the Stig's US protege, "just be like Dan", may be attending, and will be drinking beer while explaining just how awesome he was on track this year. Once, many moons ago, "just be like Dan" was a humble autocrosser, now he is almost famous. You too, can be "just like Dan"
