I know the schedule says:

"Drivers meeting at about 9:15, first car off at about 9:30"

Which is our winter schedule.. but we're going to make an attempt to start the drivers meeting sooner if possible, including the first car off.

This can be made possible by the following KEY roles:

Novice Walk Through: You'll need to be finished at 8:50am, so we can have our drivers meeting.
Registration REALLY closes at 8:30, novices be there early, so you can do the walk through.
Heat One Starter: You'll need to be at your position RIGHT after the drivers meeting.
Heat One Grid: You'll need to be at your position getting cars up to the line RIGHT after the drivers meeting.
Heat One Drivers: Your car should be in grid right after the drivers meeting, and you in your car ready to go, if your a 2nd car driver and or your at the top of the heat.

Thanks.

Heat One course workers? It seems like it takes a long time for everyone to make it out there and get checked in.

Yes, but we usually wait on cars to be at the start line more than anything. If corner workers see cars at the start, they'll start running.

Indeed. It's only when we have to resort to cell phone communication because all of our radios are dead that it takes a long time for the corners to check in... :)

You scream at the another corner captain, to have them call into control asking someone to bring out a replacement radio.

There’s a clipboard per corner with some white paper clipped under the metal clamp. A spring holds the force of the clamp to the board so the paper doesn’t fall. This paper is a combination of letters, numbers and lines that are toner black. Between the lines you have columns and rows. The person holding the pen will write in these squares the car number, car class and then the quantity of cones that were moved out of the marked box. After the paper is filled out, an auditor for the actual cone count will process it. The final results shall list the actual run times that include any cone penalties. If you hit four or more cones…a DNF for the run will be indicated.

Oh it’s Mista Dapper to you! :D

Yelling is not necessary because of the check and balance system that we have in place. I hope you have a full recovery from the amnesia…say…Sunday!? Btw: You’ve been demoded from captain solo to public pooper.
