Until I have time to post a slick link to the RSS feed, here is the address for RSS Feeds:

For those of you who may have Livejournals...you can add RockyMtnSolo2 to your friends list, and get the RSS feed from the forum.
(and that's the only thing I actually know how to do with RSS! *bows*)

I just installed http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/marketplace/EM011423341033.aspx that for Outlook 2003. There are others out there, it's pretty cool.

In Safari on the Mac, you just bookmark the RSS feed address and you can jump right to it. Has a built in reader.

Is there any possible way to get an RSS feed of just the announcements?
It appears the current feed is everything.

The current feed is not ideal by any means, but at least it is there. It contains the full feeds right now, and apparently only new threads, not responces to threads. That will change soon.
The announcements email list will continue to operate, and it will duplicate all the messages in the announcement forum. That should cover the need for a second RSS feed for announcements. (Typiclally the announcement traffic is one or two messages a week at most)

I understand. I was just hoping I could integrate the announcements into my web site :)
Thanks.

You can restrict the RSS feed to any particular forum by including the forum ID at the end of the request, like so:
http://www.rmsolo.org/forums/external.php?type=rss2&forumids=19
Currently, the RSS feed will order threads by newest thread, not by newest post (so the top thread will always be the most recently created thread, not the most recently posted-to) - I'm working on a way to order it by most recent post.
