Years of me harassing you, and you finally choose to come to the one event, where, for the first time, I *HAVE* to miss it because of work.
Punk. :D

LOL! It was planned that way! (j.k.)
With all the missing tracks here in Colorado, Autocross is looking to be rather appealing.
Work, you work? :p

OK, so you are finally coming! Well,I'll be there and can't wait to see you (I'll be driving a green GTI in SM). I had a great time seeing you on track, now it's time to burn rubber in parking lots! By the way, no sound restrictions at Mt Elbert lot, but yes in Co. Spgs.
Well, I'll see you Sunday!

Thanks Al! I'm really looking forward to it. It might be interesting with RA1 tires and the endurance brakes that won't get up to temp, but it sure will be fun! I just hope I don't go off course, lol.
What happened to the miata?

That's Val...*before* she figured out that Autocross is the ONLY thing that makes her carsick. :(
I still remember that particular moment... As she was coming down the straight to that corner, she saw Cliff standing further on down that way, with that big honkin camera of his, and she said, "Smile for the Camera, honey!", and we both had a good giggle all the way through that corner...

Heh, my wife was getting carsick just watching, when she came to one event. She doesn't want to come back.
OTOH, my 13 year old daugher had a blast riding with me!

The really sad part for me was that the first time she got out of the car...after her first run *driving*, she was fairly well jumping up and down wanting to go drive again...
Personally, I blame the carsickness on Steve Jernigan...*grin*
She went for a ride in his CSP MR2 at one of the DIA events, and he got *REALLY* *REALLY* sideways...like
"Hmmm...
I see the front of the car,
I see the side of the car,
I see the front of the car again,
I see the OTHER side of the car,
I see the front car again,
I see the side of the car again,
I see the front of the car again,
I see the OTHER side of the car AGAIN,
I see the front car again,
Oh, look they're *not* actually going to spin out..."
:)
She was pretty green after that... *LOL*
