I'd like to announce the Colorado Region's portion of the RMSolo Winter schedule. These will get posted to the schedule when our crusaders return from the Topeka wilderness.

First, ignore the October 25th date that is in the current schedule. It will be removed.

First "Regular" Winter Event: Sunday, November 9th at DSGP

Second "Regular" Winter Event: Sunday, January 18th at DSGP

You might be asking why I labeled these events "Regular". Thanks to the hard work of Arnie Coleman and the cooperation of the city and county officials there will be a special test event:

Special "Test" Event: Saturday, October 11 at Eagle County Airport in Gypsum. This will truly be special: No sound restrictions...entry limited to 60...held on the airport apron (like this Spring's Street Survival). I need to wait for Arnie to get back into town so we can work on the details and we will get them out as they are available. This could be a lot of fun! Thanks Arnie!

There will be more Winter events announced by CDR soon so stay tuned!

Also are we going to do our end of year banquet in conjunction with the road racers again? Just curious.

I don't care who I have to kill to get entry into the Eagle County Airport event; my car is running (thanks Mott and Mr. Jarecki!) and I am SO there! Major big thanks to Tom, Arnie, and all those who worked to make this possible!

Is the TRSS going to happen on 10/12 then (I need to request time off ASAP)?

This year CDR hosts the Divisional Convention. It is hard to say if we will or not right now.

You owe it all to Arnie and the folks up in Eagle. You were on our minds on our way down the hill from meeting with the officials. I do believe Arnie said something like, "Maybe Geoff might want to swap engines with me..." or maybe it was just my ears popping.

Hmmm, it's an intriguing idea- it would make Arnie's focused race car look like an Ed Roth drawing! We haven't had a good cartoon race car at our events since that VW bus with the Chevy in the middle ran at DIA!:D

Clearly, something popped!
