Is there any plan to create a more integrated registration & payment method for SCCA CTT/PDX program ?

I feel that the DLB racing site is pretty cluttered and not very "user-friendly".

Clearly not a show stopper, but just curious if a redesign was planned.

I'd have to agree, first time I was looking into a PDX I gave up because the web site is very hard to use. I feel I am very good with the net, hell I build my own computers, and fix my friends computers as a side job. But that site needs some work. Just some friendly advice. I'm sure I'm not the only one that has been deterred from a PDX/TT event because of the sites interface.

The first time I went to the site it was a bit confusing, but once I knew what to do it was OK. My biggest problem was the Pay-Pal stuff. I've had an account for years but never used it until I signed up for the PDX/TT back in May.
If you have Grants instructions (http://www.rmsolo.org/forums/showthread.php?t=2305) handy, he makes it quite clear what you need to do. Just click on the quill to register and it should take you to the payment page eventually.

It does make you more appreciative of how well the RMSOLO site is setup though.

If someone offers to do a better site than DLB for the same price I am all over it.

Until then, we will use DLB because the majority of SCCA regions are now using it, and because ALL CO and CDR road race events use it.

While the interface may be clumsy at first, it now takes me 4 clicks to register for an event. That's it.

Every single complaint I have heard about DLB so far, was covered in my set of instructions.

Anyone want to design and maintain a killer Time Trials site?, please contact me ASAP.

I am really disappointed that you did not contact myself or one of my chiefs with regards to your troubles. We could have easily resolved any issues.

I will agree that DLB can be cumbersome to use when you are starting out, certainly when compared to RMSolo.

Grant,

I haven't used it yet, but have you tried http://www.motorsportreg.com/ ?
