Can I make a request for possibly making a Data Analysis forum? My thought is that if the Traqmate rentals become more prevalent and other people have their own data analysis, it would keep chatter to a specific forum vs. cluttering the other forums with questions/discussions/tutorials for data analysis. I expect that I'll be posting tutorials for people using the Traqmate software b/c there are functions in the software that aren't as intuitive...

Just a thought (maybe we don't make one until the traffic makes it necessary?)...

I would expand the topic to data acquisition. I think it would be a good idea!

Certainly, expanding to cover all the different units for general data acquisition would be good idea!

I'm all for that. My brother and I are using a MaxQData GPS system and I wouldn't mind a little tutorial on what's most useful to look at with the data.

I'd be happy to have such a forum. We're getting more folks using this type of equipment, and would be great to share best practices and results.

We're off to a good start at Time Trials in using this data for instruction.

My primary question is: "what makes the tech discussion forum inappropriate for this?"

And the answer would be... probably nothing. Somehow when looking at the forum list, I don't recall see the Technical Discussion forum. :o

That or I read "nuts and bolts" and dismissed it as a hardware type forum.. who knows at this point.

Let's use "Technical Discussion" for now. If traffic warrants, we can re-evaluate later.
