Got an e-mail from the manager at Hampton Inn, thanking us for our business. Looks like they are keeping track, and recognize and appreciate our business.
If/when you stay there, make sure they know your with SCCA, and tell them how much you appreciate their support.
Thanks to all of you who have been able to cultivate the good relations we enjoy with them.

That's good to hear. I was happy to stay there and don't really care if it was $15 or $20 more than I could have paid somewhere else if it helps to build a good relationship.

When your vehicle gets 10-15 mpg and it's a 200 mile round trip you can more that justify staying over. That's what I'm gonna start doing.

That's great news! Will definitely stay there next time I'm down south.
Its always good to hear that businesses appreciate business that their getting. Heck I thank most of my customers shortly after they close on a mortgage.

They were very helpful in resolving something for me that they didn't have to help with. Great breakfast too, more than just bagels 'n cereal.

Is this where we politely develop a business relationship with them and request a "racer's discount"? ;)
Really though. I will plan to stay with them next time as they have shown a liking to us, which is great! I stayed ata Pricelined hotel this last time just out of ease of convenience. But I too would even spend a little extra to support a business that accepts us.
I worried about our noise level and the hotel being RIGHT THERE the first few events, but then heard nothing of it so I figured it was not an issue.
Thank you Arnie for maintaining these communications with them!

The Hampton Inn has an "SCCA rate" for us, just ask for it
