The Rocky Mountain Chapter BMW CCA is holding its spring Tire Rack Street Survival School this Saturday at Arapahoe Park (the horse racing track), 26000 East Quincy in Aurora.
Due to a mix of multiple events and high student interest, the club is finding ourselves long of students (a good problem) and short of instructors and volunteers (a bad problem).
If you are available to help out Saturday, especially as an instructor, your assistances would be very much appreciated. Please contact me directly at 970 481 8286(cell) or 970 207 0867(home) if you would be able to help.
Lunch and drinks will be provided. We need volunteers to be on site at 7:30, or 7:00 if you could help with course setup.
Thanks in advance for your help!

Hmmm, I didn't see this on the SCCA's schedule beforehand, but I would be up for helping since I don't have anything going on this weekend. I haven't instructed before (was going to in Eagle but appendicitis and then surgery shortly before that event changed my plans), but am willing to help as either a volunteer of whatever sort or as an inexperienced instructor.

Thanks Matthew--hope to see you there.
This TRSS school is *not* an SCCA event, but rather the first of two that the local BMW CCA chapter puts on. We're fortunate to have many instructors involved with Street Survival that contribute their time to both SCCA and BMW schools.
The material and exercises are the same for both, as it is the same program licensed from the BMW CCA Foundation. I'd be happy to have you as a new instructor, as we're always looking to develop new instructors for both clubs!

David,
Sorry I can't help out -- did something to my back and have been on meds all week -- limping around -- don't think being on my feet all day on Saturday would help.
Perhaps next time. :(

Ah, ok. That would explain why I didn't see it on the SCCA's schedule. Is there any training or reading material I should go over before hand to be ready on Saturday?

Yes, but I don't have the materials with me; they are at home. I'll email you a copy this evening. PM me with your address.
