It's hard to get excited about new Hoosiers when the last two have been so poor performing and wearing tires compared to the Kumhos.

I bet a 245/40/17 will run $250 a tire.

The biggest problem isn't grip with the hoosiers, its tires life. It'll be hard to beat 60-80 runs on a set of Hoosiers compared to what the 710s offer.

If the tire is just as good as the V710 for most people it will be Kumhos.

But if the hoosiers are better, then we'll see many more of them. From feedback I've received not from Hoosier, they say they are much much better than they used to be.

For those of us (me), who cannot get Kumhos on their car, the new Hoosier should level the playing field a bit.

Do you mean 60-80 runs on th V710's not the Hoosiers? I never got close to that on Hoosiers but I have on the Kumhos.

At least when you cord the Hooisers you'll KNOW you need new tires.

The 710's heat cycle to death before they cord (on my car, anyway), so it's harder to tell when they need replaced.

Kind of a weird benefit to Hoosiers, eh?

Most of the wear on hoosiers were on the corners, they say the've fixed it.. we'll see if they did. But because you can run lower pressures, I'd say they changed something.

The information I have doesn't come from Hoosier, it comes from people who tested their tires, they all said they liked them a lot better than the previous S05
