Aaack, the 11th is Mother's day!
I'm signed up, but probably won't attend because of this.
Bummer having to wait till the Memorial Day weekend to race again :(
Then the 2 day school/race is the next weekend.
A solo pad at HPR hopefully will help scheduling.
Sorry for the grumbling, I'm sure it takes a huge amount of work to get a schedule together at the existing venues. Thanks for creating a race schedule for us!

Thanks to all who work hard with the existing venues to get us a race schedule.

I'm in the same boat there Jamie.

Aaah, I had the good fortune to marry an autocrosser, and have a little autocrosser for a daughter! We're in!

Not that it necessarily makes sense but move to Massachusetts were they had the day off today in observance of "Patriots' Day"

Ohh, wow. Not sure how I feel about that.

Can't find a youtube link, but the South Park with Cartman teaching the inner-city kids to cheat, just like the Patirots was really, really funny!

Yeah, but if you're there on Patriot's Day, they make you run a marathon. ;)

Oh man! I should have YOU lead the Junior karters to the course and back! We make the FJ drivers wear helmets so they won't be injured if my kneecaps spontaneously fly off and hit the poor kids on the head while I'm running at my <barely walking> pace!

...except I'm not giving up my job - it's the best job in RMSolo!

Youth Steward, even if I have to use a wheelchair! And that might be sooner than I had hoped...

Maybe install some kneecap tethers?
You know, like the cables F1 cars use to keep the tires from getting away? :D

From the sound of it, I think maybe we need a scattershield. ;)

I ran a cross country snowmobile race with duct tape wrapped around my pants at my knees, that worked okay. My friend had the duct tape under the pants, not over. You should have seen the "Why didn't I think of that" look on his face when we were unwrapping our knees after the race. Duct tape really doesn't hurt too much when you unwrap it from really sweaty denim. Can't say the same for when you unwrap the duct tape from unshaven legs...

I've since discovered neoprene braces, much easier to keep the kneecaps within an inch or two of where they belong!

Maybe install some of those GPS tracking devices in them, in case they get too far afield?
