I keep forgetting to post a reminder for the monthly Colorado Region (Denver) membership meeting. It will be held Tuesday, April 15th at 7:00 pm. Member meetings are always scheduled for the third Tuesday of each month at 7:00pm at the Breckenridge Brewery, 471 Kalamath, Denver, CO. Colorado Region Board meetings are also open to the public, held on the first Tuesday of the month at the same location also starting at 7:00pm. So, if you aren't in line mailing your tax return why not come over and see what's going on in the rest of the region.

And I was just beginning to wonder when there was a meet in the middle. I keep seeing the meetings up in Fort Collins & the one down in the Springs...

Is this more of a formal meeting or a social get together? Sounds like anyone is welcome to attend right?

Anyone and everyone is more than welcome. This is the "formal" Colorado Region membership meeting but it is far from formal. It is not one of the Solo social get togethers like the other meetings listed in this section. It is dominated by road racing discussion and news, not by intent, it has just gone that way since Solo folks haven't attended for years. All of the disciplines are sincerely welcome to show up (even embraced one might say). We are trying to break down the silos (how do you like my corporate speak?) that we have managed to get ourselves into over the years. We raffle off various prizes, mostly from Harbor Freight and Sears that range in value from a buck or two and top out around $30. This week we have well over $100 in prizes including a 36" long bolt cutter. The tickets are $1 each, 6 for $5. I am working to get more Solo presence at the meeting. I think you might find some parts of the meeting a bit tiring since it may not apply to things we know of but overall you will have a good time and learn a lot about what the region as a whole is doing. The beer and food are very good.
