February 8th, 11 am at Hoongs Palace. Hoongs is located at the SW corner of Arapahoe and Havana between Discount Tire and Outback Steakhouse.

Hoongs!!! Awesome! It's at the SW corner of Havana and Arapahoe (set back a little bit), immediately south of the Burger King and the Discount Tire.

What is Hoongs? They have any undead food for the hippie dirtbag vegetarians?

I think this is an older menu (or perhaps their take-out menu):

yikes, I don't do crabs.
Next SDBRL at someplace a bit more pedestrian, I'll show - Anthony's Pizza, Paradise Bakery, Great Northern Tavern (BEER IS FOOD, DAMMIT), etc, I'm in.
Simple food for simple minds and stuff. All that complicated "what the hell is it?!" food != me;).

Did you see page 2, the vegetable section? They offer a variety of Chinese food dishes.

I like Anthony's ;) As a New Yorker (by birth), does anyone have a reco for NY Style Pizza that is GOOD? Anthonys is pretty close, and they have enough locations that I can find one when I need one... but any other recommendations? A good thin-style crust (not cracker) that is somewhat chewy rocks!
See ya'll Friday.

There's an Anthony's located near Arapahoe and I-25. As for other NY style pizza places, there's one at Parker and Orchard that's not too bad that's fairly close to you. I forget the name of it though.

The Anthony's at 16th and California (I think, one block eastish of Champa, just southish of the 16th street mall) is pretty close to authentic NY.
Anthony's is a chain, no doubt, but some are dramatically better than others. The one downtown has the most authentic pizza of all the Anthony's I've been to (3 or 4), plus it has crazy people, junkies and bums hanging out in front of it. It is filthy, the walls are graffiti'd (inside), the guys that work there are mad, yeah, it's pretty close.
Iain (what's f'in takin so long, yo? We have, lesse....PIZZA, PIZZA, wait, oh, look, more PIZZA! Cant-choo read?)

I eat there once a week... sometimes more ;) My office is just up at 16th and Court :(
The 'chef' (term used loosely) has his Italian road-bike hat on and is one pissy mofo

Yup. I got to know him fairly well - used to work downtown - he, like most New Yorkers, is a decent guy once you get the profanity & fistfight out of the way.
I'm from Boston originally, I actually find it refreshing:). Everyone is too damned nice here.

I'll make no claims about the authenticity, but this place is both tasty AND entertaining!!! Make sure you go during bar hours for maximum entertainment factor(s) . . . .
