Hello, and thanks to everyone on this list who has been super-helpful.
I'm thrilled to return to the SCCA Time Trials competition, with an exciting new car.
I bought the Danny Collins Formula Special Pocket Rocket and am looking to convert it to a D Sports Racer. (Suggestions and help most welcome!)

Did you buy that at the auction, or from the gentleman that won it at the HPR auction?

Now that's cool.

Congratulations!
If you can turn it into a ALMS prototype, you'll have made a huge leap!
I bet you could do something like the SCCA Enterprises car ... which I believe uses the same chassis for both their open formula and closed wheel racer;

You're going DSR right? With some fenders, yes?
I don't know that we're able to accomodate open wheel cars in PDX/TT at this time. Grant, Josh?

Yes, I'm looking to convert this to a D Sports Racer by adding body work with fenders.
Josh, Grant, et al, are extremely supportive, but they can't allow open-wheel cars on track with Formula cars. I completely support their desire for fast, safe fun.
Anyone with parts or suggestions for the conversion, please let me know. It doesn't have to be pretty, but I'll probably do more than 1/4" MDF and duct tape.

For the rest of you talking about the Future Fun series...you are now officially behind.
Get to it! :D
