*EDIT*
Desperately seeking 245/40-17 MXs. New or used, as long as they still have decent tread. Specifically looking for Kumho MX only now.
Contact me directly at hsunchen@hotmail dot com if you have a pair - thank you!
Hey Hsun, don't know if this is remotely anything you're looking for but I have a friend who is unloading eight 225/45R17 Falken Azeni Sports with good tread.
Diameter is similar.
Let me know if you are interested and I'll let him know.

Thanks Van. I was intentionally avoiding the Falken Azenis RT215/RT615s because of their stiff sidewalls - I'm looking for decent flex for drag race launching at low pressure (25 psi or so). But, I'm a sucker for buying cheap car stuff that may or may not be useful at one point or another.
What does he want per tire? I only need two of course. And where is he?
He can send the answer (and pics of the tread maybe) to me at the hotmail address listed above.
I sent him an email and gave him yours.

Van, what's the skinny on the Azenis? Does your friend still have them? How much? Are they the 215 or 615?

OK, one last try before I go buy a set new from Pete @ Tire Source. . .
I need one pair of 245/40-17 Kumho MXs, used or new, as long as there's still at least 1/4 tread or so.

Okay, they are not 225-40-17's or Kumho's, but would 225-45-17 Bridgstone Potenza's be okay? They are the oe tires on the STi's.

That's actually darn close in outer diameter (225/45-17 = 24.97", 245/40-17 = 24.72", at least according to this website - http://www.performancetirewholesalers.com/tire_height_chart.html) but I did already go ahead and order two new MXs from the Tire Source already.
Thanks though.
You should post what you're asking for them, tread depth, etc. in case any Scoobie peeps are interested.
