First, I would like to thank both Clay and Tom for giving me the opportunity to work with the regions' cadres of Chiefs. I don't think I've ever experienced a greater group of dedicated and fun enthusiasts ever! Thank you all for a wonderful season!!

Unfortunately, a shift in priorities means that I may not be able to attend a full season of Solo events next year, so I need to pass the responsibility of Chief of Waivers to someone else. Graciously, Chris Mayfield has accepted the role for both regions for next year. I have absolutely no doubt that he will excel in this position. Please join me in welcoming Chris, and thanking him for dedicating his time and service to help keep the regions' Solo programs the best in the nation!

Thanks Chris!

Please join me in thanking Ian for his work as Chief of Waivers for both regions. If you ever need another assignment, Ian, we'd be lucky to have you back.

And thanks to Chris Mayfield for stepping up to bat for all of us. Welcome, Chris!

Clay

I am looking forward to next season and taking a more active role in our local Solo program! After competing in a couple other regions, I am proud to say that I am a part of the Colorado SOLO events. The efficiency that goes along with our events is second to none and I hope to continue that.

A big thanks to Ian for the great job he did this year. I'm looking forward to next season and doing whatever I can to help!

Chris, welcome aboard! You are going to fill Ian's shoes very well!

Ian, you bring a lot to each event you attend, whether as a Chief, a driver or as a spectator. You know if we don't see you at enough events we may have to kidnap you and lock you in the timing truck :D

Thanks for the kind words Tom and Clay. Don't worry though, you can't get rid of me that easy ;) I'll see if I can bum a codrive with someone every once in a while.

You know that you are always welcome to co-drive with me! Especially if you want to stick with an engine you are used to!
