A great big thank you to all the PDX and TT entrants who came down to drive on Saturday. It was a great day! And even though it ran surprisingly long, ending our session at the end of the day was unique and memorable.

A great day!

We had more entrants this weekend than we've had all year! What a great way to close the season! Everyone finished the day with a little less tire, less gas, and more smiles that should last until spring. :D :D :D

Unfortunately, the weather steward was only able to deliver for Saturday, and Sunday's TT event was called on account of inclement weather (PMP in the rain and snow...), but I think we ended the season on a high note, and planning will be underway for next season very soon.

And a big thanks to the workers who did an exceptional job for everyone, even into the late of the day for the last TT session.

Watching the TT'ers after dark was pretty cool for this worker. Flames out of a stock RX-8 is tooooo cool. Glowing brakes are much better in person than any picture!

Congrats to Grant Barclay, Josh Hadler, Dave Walker, and Graeme Weston-Lewis for the successful revival of the Club Time Trials and PDX program for Colorado.

Your hard work and enthusiasm have provided both CR and CDR the "next step" for SCCA Solo drivers, building the next SCCA road racers.

Well done.

Yes! Thank you very much for the events this year. I've had the privilege to run at Pueblo twice with you guys and like I've said after the July's event, it was a blast! I was very nervous to run without any "coaching" yesterday but that feeling has disapeared right after the first warm-up lap :D I will be joining you all next year as well. This stuff is addicting in a very good way. Thanks again for getting me hooked and for organizing the whole thing!

Its Monday and i have not only a lack of sleep but i also lack new things to say... but i want to add my Kudos to the event organizers (Grant, Carol, Gramme, Josh, Dave) for an excellent and exciting time.

I also want to thank the instructors from the PDX. I am sure it cannot be easy sitting passenger to a rookie track driver speeding down the dragstrip into T1, with a cold track, cold tires and OE brakes...

I had the privilege of instruction from Brad Heusman (sorry if i got the spelling wrong) for both PDX runs on Saturday. Fantastic coaching, found myself repeating his words throughout the day to keep me focused.

The day ended with a new sense of respect for the drivers both at the event and for the guys you see on TV (i dont get out much). I met a lot of great folks at the event and was again reminded of what makes these events so much fun.

And a great big thank you to the workers that helped make this a safe and fun event for everyone !

And, i too, am hooked... i'll be signed up for the next event as soon as it is available.

Saturday was a great day that had a very exciting and memorable ending. (Im going to invest in some Hella's). I couldn't be more excited about the weather, the turn out, and my student in the PDX (great job Garrett!).

I want to thank Josh, Grant, Graeme, and Carrol. The events this year were top notch and I feel over the winter word will spread and the program will become stronger. You all have put a lot of work into this program and I feel very fortunate top be apart of a top notch program.

Thanks to all the PDX'ers and TT participants! with out all of you we could not be thinking of a continuation of this program next year! However the responsibility now burdens all of us to ensure the program thrives! Tell your Family and friend of the fun you had at the track and lets be the group to grow the sport.

Thanks again to everyone who made this season possible!

I had a great time on Saturday! And, chasing the RX-8 for the darker part of the final session, I had a very good view of the flames coming out of the exhaust! It looked more hot than cool! ;)

As a first time participant, I have to thank all the chiefs for making me feel welcome and comfortable, as well as my TT instructor Dave Jobusch. Although Dave and I know each other, he was pretty tough on me during the TT, but his no nonsense approach to getting it right really helped me throughout the rest of the day. By the final session, I felt pretty comfortable, even with the car "dancing" through 6A and 6B. Graeme was right when he told me that I could probably go faster through 6... I dropped nearly 3 seconds between qualifying and the race, most of that was probably in 6. Thanks Graeme!!!

Does anybody know who was taking pictures/film at the track on Saturday? I've seen a guy running around with a big camera by the front straight and in turn 7. In turn 7 I have also seen people taking video with a camera on a tripod. I wanna know how to get a hold of them to see if they have any pics/vid.

Jay Bonvouloir was taking photos, I have already left a message with him to find out what pics he got of the TT on Saturday.

I don't know who was shooting video though.

I just want to tell Grant and David and all those that helped put the event on:

THANK YOU !! :)

Loads of fun and a great group of folks! You can learn alot from the club racers too. It's really fun to walk through the pits and talk to everybody as well.
