 "If you haven't yet been in an accident. This is exactly what it's like. Not fun."

"She's going to be okay."

If you want to read the key flutters...Clicky (http://socalsportbikes.info/xmb/viewthread.php?tid=34948) 19,483kb is the file size.

Listen for these key items:
1. "OOOOHHHH SH*T!!!!"
2. "Is she okay?!"
3. "She's about to get PAID!!!"

"Hey, rewind to the lady with the low cut shirt!" :D She's a nurse...:p

The bike is an R1 btw. Her riding gear protection did it's only job.
The guy's a interesting drifter...

Dawn's Camera Setup:
Camcorder is a Sony HC42
Bulletcam from www.helmetcamera.com - Sony EX-View 560 with the 2.6mm lens for 120 degree angle of view.

wow. I just can't say how much of an idiot that civic driver is. She should be able to jump in HIS car and "hit him" again...That nurse lady does makes for some good viewing though...

By no way is she at fault, but that looks like it could have been avoided if she steered left instead of right and sandwiched herself. 'Wot's the deal, shouldn't an R1 have excellent brakes?

I skipped to page 36 of the thread...Being in an accident (that accident!) is suck enough..but...

The Honda *was* insured.
However.
The *Driver* of the Honda was specifically excluded *by name* on the policy.
The Driver of the Honda...prevaricated...on the Police Report, and was not issued a citation.

So, you spin a 180 on the 55 Northbound in Cali - and you get off essentially scott free, *despite* the injured party having captured the whole thing on video.
She has retained a lawyer, needless to say.

This would be precicely why I left the "Great State" when I was 18.
