Has anyone heard of a track being built in breckenridge??? Possibly complete by this season??? I heard the rumor from a road racer, just curious if anyone else had heard of this too?

ummmm.... I really do not beleive that one even a little bit, but I am pretty far out of the loop!

I only found information on a Nordic track.

No, Ian found the "track" reference :D

I dunno, I'm inclined to think the less discussion about a new track the better. Over discussion seems to have had a part in killing the last couple of attempts.

The Nostalgia Racing folks have been working on this. The last update on their site is July 2005, so I don't know the current status.

When I asked if the Breckenridge track is moving ahead, and whether it would be generally available, Jimmy of Nostalgia Racing replied: "Too early to say if it's going to happen. We sold it on the idea that it would only be once a year."
