Hey,

My dad and I want to attend the time trials event in September at La Junta. So I was wondering what the deal is with co-driving. Will we just have to each take a few laps and then switch? Also, we'll both need to go through PDX, will we both be able to do that in one morning before time trials? Thank you.

We have accommodated many two-driver cars in the past under our old, standalone event format. We just split the two drivers between two of our run groups.

Under the new format, where we're sharing the track with the Club Racers, it might be a little challenging, because so far we've had limited entries and only needed one group.

Our attendance is on the rise, though, so the more entries we get, the more likely having more than one run group will be practical, I'm thinkin', and the easier we can accommodate 2-driver cars with full sessions for each.

This is mostly speculation on my part---Josh and Grant may want to jump in here with something more official.

IF (big if) we get more than 25 registered drivers for an event, we MAY (big may) be able to accomodate 2 driver cars.

Our biggest concern this season is being able to smoothly integrate the program under the road racing schedule, and currently that means only one run group for Trials drivers. I do have a plan that would allow 2 driver cars, with a little tweaking of the schedule, and co-operation from the drivers, but that hinges on more than 25 entries for the event.

The event Supp's are in Topeka waiting sanction numbers, and registration will open shortly after the sanction numbers are issued, hopefully about a month before the event is scheduled.
