Does anybody have a good recommendation for a shop that can either re-paint or powder coat cast aluminum wheels? Thanks in advance and if you know potential costs, that would be helpful as well!

Spec Wheels in Commerce City is one of the best in the country. Prices are reasonable as well. They restored a set of American Racing Libres from the 70s for me. When we discovered one was cracked beyond repair, they were able to modify the only other one I could find to make it match the other three. Outstanding service and work.

Thanks guys, that just re-affirmed I should either buy a good set of used or new wheels instead of buying some fixer uppers.

Anyone know a place just to have a set of wheels stripped for home refinishing? I'm thinking a chemical dip should be maybe $10 a wheel?

At the risk of being redundant, I'd check with Spec. They will bake everything off. It gets things really clean.
