A few notes about the Novice Meeting and Course Walk preceding this weekend's events:
1. The meeting starts at approx 8:00 AM at the course Start gate. Listen for the PA announcements for the actual time.
2. You MUST go through check-in BEFORE reporting for the meeting. If you don't get checked in before it closes, you will be watching everyone else have a good time.
3. If you are driving in Heat 1, you MUST have your car in grid and ready to be teched BEFORE reporting for the meeting (not kidding!!!)
4. If you are driving in Heat 2, you MUST have your car in Pre-Grid and ready to be teched BEFORE reporting for the meeting (also not kidding!!!)
5. The Meeting and Course Walk are not mandatory for Novices, but extremely highly recommended, especially for first-timers.
6. Every "newbie" should study Randy Hickman's "Autocross School Introduction", linked on the home page of this web site.
7. During the meeting, you will learn:
- how to "read" the course
- the "driving line"
- how to drive fast
- how to do it safely
Looking forward to seeing you all there!
