Does anybody know if Megan Racing parts are any good? I've been trying to do some research finding suspension that'd be good on/off the track and relatively inexpensive... Any suggestions on what and where I should look? I want coilovers so I can adjust for street or track.

I have Megans on the STi. No problems yet. They are not Motons, but they get the job done well on a budget.

Both Roger and I are runing Megan coilovers on WRX's.. They're perfectly fine.
I like them, but I liked the Koni coils I had on my golf more. (too bad they were bolted to a GOLF)
Ask Dodger or me for a ride if you see us around in the right car.. Dodger said he wasn't doing and CS events this year, and unless hell loses another valve guide, my rex won't be racing AT ALL, ANYMORE.
;)
I'm sure there's a few more stx-rex's running them too..

Megan Racing has some pretty decent strut-brace sets. On my Accord, I'm running a three-set (upper-front+rear and lower-rear), they make the chassis feel marginally more stable (which, admittedly, doesn't take much with a chassis like the Accord). Got the whole set of three for something like $90-$100 shipped on E-Bay. So, at least the brace bars are definately quite good on a budget - Plus, you have a choice of colors! :D
I've heard some decent reviews of their seats, exhaust systems and coilovers - but I vaguely recall something about them being kind of hit-and-miss as far as performance quality. Relatively cheap, but not *necessarily* effective. I'd research individual components quite thoroughly. I don't recall what all they make, off the top of my head. Who knows, though, they just might make exactly what you need to get faster.
This probably will be a "Shut up, Devin, I know that already!" comment, but I feel the need to say it: Just be careful - not many companies mass-produce parts that are designed to make a car fast in something like Autocross (this comment is aimed more than anything at spring-rates), usually coilovers or lowering-springs (ugh) are tuned more towards the 'Sporty feel' of the street-enthusiast or maybe the performance of the road-racer - neither of which would necessarily be particularly effective in Autocross.
For the shocks/springs/coilovers/swaybars, I am a strong supporter of the Koni/Eibach/Ground-Control/Suspension-Techniques package.
Just my $0.02. Good luck! :)
I have a really cool Megan Racing boost gauge that I have yet to install in the Audi.

Hey Van, how much HP gain by installing the Guage? :)
Kubo, so you are sticking with the Sentra?
See you all soon

For now, just wanna see how much more competitive it could be with suspension upgrades... Still looking for the Impreza too, so if anybody knows of one, let me know!

On the Evo, they're generally considered the best ENTRY-LEVEL coilover choice. They are very inexpensive yet provide much improved performance over stock AS LONG AS the car is properly corner balanced and aligned after installation. You also need to know the proper damper settings for a given situation.

Clayton, they are entry level just about everywhere. They are a good upgrade from stock, but they are not the best out there. They do a very good job for the price. If I feel the need to replace them, I will probably go with Moton or Ohlin, just couldn't afford them when I was changing things out.

Yeah, I figured they are entry-level on any platform, but I just wanted to make sure that we frame the comments here with the proper constraints. Yes, the Megans are "great," but they are great for what they are, which is the first level upgrade above stock. I think that sometimes people see comments about how great they are and think they are as good as Ohlins and other superior models just because the comments were never qualified.

I'm researching and looking everywhere. I've found some coil-overs on ebay (SKUNK2, Ground Control, etc.) and also some shocks, but will have to figure out how to work with very restrictive budget (bills, wife)... Hopefully by the end of the summer I'll have a properly setup car :o In the mean time, I'll just have to work on my driving skills
