WTB: Flat Bed Trailer, must have dove tail, dual axles, electronic breaks preferably, light, really good shape, but used is fine.
PM or reply.

Hey Jeff,
If you're looking for new, the best way to get one is to drive south to Texas. You can get exactly what you want, and even with the cost of gas these days, it'll still cheaper than buying locally. After all, that's where all the trailers up here are made anyway...

Know of any specific sources in Texas to check with?
I see lots of them from Texas on ebay, but who knows how good they are.

I bought a BigTex which is one of the largest manufacturers, keep in mind Colorado requires trailer brakes on both axles and Texas and other states may not. The upgrade isn't expensive but may need to be factored in. My trailer I just got is 16', no dovetail though, 6000# new from the trailer place in Castle Rock on the west side of the highway I think the buisiness is Colorado Diesel Performance and Trailer, I paid $1800 new which when you figure in the potential reconditioning of tires brakes etc. of a used trailer was a decent but not smokin' deal. Just for reference Parker Trailers wanted $2600 for the same trailer and That place that Matt Leicester recomends off Ward and 40th I think was nearly equivalent to the $1800 I paid but not as close to me.

BigTex is the big one (no pun intended), and they will pretty much build whatever you want.
