Question about Shocks

Well, the section said Novice Help, so here's a novice question... hope someone can clarify for me.

In the rulebook it says for the Stock class; shocks with "no more than two seperate external shock damping adjustment controls" may be used. My question is this- I have KYB AGX shocks (1 setting control knob with 8 different positions). Is this considered 1 "external shock damping adjustment control" or 8?.. Thus removing my otherwise "stock" car from the stock class.

I hope to get out to my first Solo II event at DIA in Feb. Thanks for any help.

That's considered just one adjustment .. it probably controls rebound, I assume.

If you had another control for compression, that would be a 2nd adjustment.

If you then had a 3rd adjustment for fast compression valving, that would be a 3rd and not be legal.

But you are fine.
