Hoosier is releasing a very scary tire for autocrossers...
*drum roll*
The all new totaly redesigned 275-35-15 Hoosier A6!!

This tire is amazing. It should be the new dominate tire for all cars currently running the popular 235-45-13 or 215-50-13 set up. I'm a little discouraged because CSP could be fast enough the compete in BSP. I can't even imagine the g's these tires will exert on the chassis. The miata.net forum guys are saying a 15x10 will be the suitable wheel size and generous cutting/fender rolling will be necessary. It should be ready by the end of the month. (mar07)

Guy Ankeny did the monster tire thing with a CSP miata a few years back... (Wow, it was TEN years ago!). He had 245/45-16 tires on it, and it was pretty impressive. Won Nationals, then sold it. Had really nice flares...

I'll have to write this guy out east who was thinking about making fender flares for jettas. My wallet is already starting to hurt.
