I'm trying to find a hitch for my Mirage and so far these two brands have come up.

I can't seem to find a website for Da'lan but I found one for Curt Mfg. I like their site and one place in Florida that sells both are selling the Curt cheaper than the Da'lan. So right now I'm leaning towards the Curt brand.

Anyone have any experiences with these two brands? I only plan on pulling a tire trailer so maybe 400lbs GTW.

I've used a Da'lan on my M3 for over 3 years. Pulling a tire trailer weighing @ 300lbs. No issues other than it dragging the ground when I pull out of the driveway ;)

I have also been using a Da'Lan trailer hitch . I've been using it for about 5 years now. It started on my Z3 and then was moved to my M Roadster. They are very solid and I like the fact that it is a hidden hitch, at least on the Z3/M. I'm not sure if this is true on other cars or not. HMS Motorsports has them - http://www.hmsmotorsport.com/store/exterior/trailer-hitch/da-lan-hitches/#1952

I have used a Da'lan for two years on my Miata. It is the visable version but has worked well. I know someone with the hidden version and he likes it as also. The instructions were good and well done.

I've had them on every car I've owned. As far as I know they are the only bolt on option for many sports cars.

BTW, Curt bought Da'Lan a few years ago, they are the same company

Very well then. Guess that helps me decide! Thanks for the info.

Funny thing is, according to one online site I found, it lists the two brands separately and for 2 very different prices! Guess I'm gonna have to call them about that.
