Mg Sv?

Did anyone else see the MG SV during the 4th heat? I didn’t know they where for sale in the US, and when is it going to race?

I saw it driving in as I was leaving. It took me a while to figure out is was an MG, and I never even heard of that model! Of course, I haven't read AutoWeek in about twenty years...

No, "they" aren't for sale in the US, but that one is. It is one of the vehicles used for a four thousand mile road certification. But, MG went kaput, so it's not currently in production. The one you saw today was being driven by John Ames; his son Matt owns it, and is currently trying to find it a new home (garage). Contact John if you are an investor.

Oh, that's what it was! Jeff Duncan, John Bonv..... and I saw that while working course in Heat 3, we were trying to figure out what it was. We decided it was an RX-8 with a bunch of bodywork additions. Uhhhhh, I guess not!
