I thought HUD's and Tachs may be a Boon to Autox perticularly for my WRX which is an early model with the hidden tach (at least would look cool) but I am asking how do they hook up.. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/DEFI-LINK-VSD-BASIS-HUD-MPH-HEADS-UP-DISPLAY_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQcategoryZ33678QQitemZ802 9397597QQrdZ1QQsspagenameZWDVW is one of the many models. do these thing just connect to the ECM? I know that MyCron's connect to spark plug wires but WRX's use coil on plugs so that that dosen't work because the High Voltage pickup dosent work because it starts under those coils.

Any thoughts.

Heh. I don't have TIME to read the current tach, or speedo! And, that's at Pueblo, not an auto-x...

When I wired the tach in my Civic I spliced into a wire hookup that Honda had put in so they could get diagnostics when cars came in for maintenance. You might look around on other forums or call the Subaru dealership to see if you're car has a similiar wire under the hood.
