Thanks for posting. I sent it to my son, hopefully it will make an impression on him.

So what actually happened? I'd like to know how a new audi turns into a yard sale like that.

Some say its staged...
it might be fake.
look at it closely, there are no marks on teh ground from the 2 peices sliding, nothing on the ground screwed up by the motor. The bark takin off the tree by the muffler looks old, like its been off for a while, same thing at the impact tree.
i see no blood or blood stains, and u would think u would in a crash like that. I dont see any skid marks on the raod either, then again i can't see much of it. plus thats alot of spectators.

How does an entinre engine and good chunk of transmission come to final resting spot like that with not a single blemish on the ground or pine needles around it. The amount of energy nessecary to rip that from the car and send it hurtling a fair distance away would equal some significant speed. There would have been some pretty big gouges and ruts in the soil and there are none. Looks like it was placed there.
But I would have to say that wierd things happen in crashes so I dont think it's staged. There have been others that have been staged.

I dunno, it looks just a -little- too clean. But if it's staged, it's really, really good. But I buy it though, tripple digit speeds on a forrest road, loose it, over correct, spin, encounter immovable object.
I would expect to see the halves of the car covered in needles and cones though. With a hard impact to the base of the tree, I'd think it would jar loose a BUNCH of needles...
