We are in the process of putting together a Site Response Plan for our Solo events. This will include phone numbers to emergency agencies, directions to hospitals, etc.

One of the things we would like to have available is a list of participants that have medical training who are normally at these events, and who wouldn't mind acting as a first-aid-giver or advisor, etc if the need arises.

Certainly, if anyone ever gets injured they should seek regular professional help, but it could certainly prove useful to be able to properly treat and dress a wound while waiting for the ambulance or before sending the person off to the emergency clinic.

So, if you think you will be attending most of the SCCA events and wouldn't mind being available to help in this regard, please reply to me via email with the following;

Name
Medical Training
Car number normally run
Cell phone number or best way to reach you while at event
Will you be at Mt. Elbert events regularly?
Will you be at World Arena events regularly?

Thanks very, very much!

Paul,

My training was done by the Red Cross and National Ski Patrol. I completed my First Aid certification in 1985 and did annual updates until 1996 when I retired fro the Ski patrol.
My car number is 96 GS
Best way to reach me is via the PA or radio if I am working safety that heat.
I normally run DIA events and occasional WA events.
