OK, this is not technically the 1000 pt run, but my 4th run, which was little faster.
I thought after all the discussion about the course, this may help some of the novices.

Enjoy.

Please, let me be the first to say: SSSSSIIIIIIIIIIIIII-IIIIIII-IIIIIIII-IIICK!!!!!

It is no wonder you kick our butts ALMOST every time ;) . The combination of human and machine talent represented in that one run is OUTSTANDING!!!

Is it just me or is it really hard to tell when the car is sliding until the steering wheel turns the "wrong" way?

Thank you so much for sharing and it's too late to take it down because I've already secured it for in-depth study. :p

Great vid!

+1 to Smark's study comment- watching hands and feet a bunch...

Do I win the prize for "twitchiest looking safety steward"? Was just trying to keep my course awareness high. :D

VERY NICE!!!

Mandatory multiple viewing for my co-driver and myself

??? Like PAX, maybe we need somekind of "handicap" for drivers as well, you know like saturday morning bowling league; I'm thinking you could spot drivers with less than 3yrs exp. 1 second per 10 seconds of course time  -

 probably not enough

BTW cool doors!

Where did my comment go? Awww...

Allow me to re-state:

OHMIGOSH**SSOFASt= oh my gosh it's so fast

[Mediator note: Got a complaint about the original post because of the unfortunate combination of "GOSH ITS SO" Surprised me a bit, but, well, technically, that's the rule. ]

Awesome run. Your hand work is amazing! Slowing your hands in a car that reacts that quickly is not easy. Good job! Great video for anyone who really wants to drive better. Oh yeah, the car is nice too!

Thanks all! I hope it helps some people. I know I learned something from the video, and I will be using duct tape to keep my left hand on the wheel at future events. Lots of wasted motion there.

tried ripping the video to no avail. Care to load it at .85 playback speed so I can see what it'd look like my car? haha :D I can see where I lost a lot of time in the tight hairpin on the back, and the much better line through the bump-right-90.

Exellent video.

The slalom is a real exhibition of how to stay ahead of the inputs. That should be required viewing for any schools that we do.

Based on the movement of your steering column is it:

A) Secured with bungee cord (weight savings?!?)
B) Optical illusion from light bending as you approach light speed? ;)

Impressive driving as always Chris! Nice to see it from inside the car!

Okay, thanks to @#$%!!!! YouTube, now I really, really want to build the RX-3. Of course, I don't think the sequential transmission or the huge rear wing is legal for EP. For that matter, I'm pretty sure the 3 rotor would put me in E Mod, but dang! I could have the sounds of an entire F1 starting grid all in one car!

It is an RX-3! You can look at the other videos of the same car and driver. Autocross content: He doesn't actually look as impressive as Chris Dorsey in the tight, autocross sized turns. But it's still mighty cool to watch. And listen to!
